The Beauties

Show Time:

8:00pm - Main Stage

Artist Bio:

It is a Sunday night, and from here we can see a band trickle down the stairs of The Dakota Tavern to set up on a stage that is adorned with the skull of a steer on the wall. The basement walls are made of barn board and dusk, little red candles keep quiet vigil on the uneasy tables, and the floorboards maintain last night’s souvenirs of booze, boots, and bedlam. Outside, the lean and hungry sky hovers above our city like a dark and early debt. It is surely better to rely on a band than the weath- er, which is why we’re all here. It is a Sunday—God’s day, some would say—but in exactly one hour the room will be filled with sound, sweat, and bodies, and the eager crowd will be taken to a different kind of church owned by the howling and swaggering amplifiers of The Beauties.

The Beauties were formed in 2006 at a tavern in the west end of Toronto. A Sunday night residency(which was initially intended as an informal jam) soon blossomed into sold out shows, week after week. Darin McConnell and Shawn Creamer share guitar and vocal duties, Jud Ruhl streams the lead guitar while Paul Phisterer and Derek Downham keep time as the unapologetically stoic rhythm section. A four-song, self-titled EP quickly established The Beauties as a band to watch out for, earning them coveted support slots with acts such as Broken Social Scene and Alejandro Escovedo. They have also backed up such note- worthy songwriters as Ron Sexsmith, Jim Cuddy, and Serena Ryder. Three years later, they continue to remind the crowds of the tightly-knit seams that stem from rock and roll, as well as confirming the often overlooked truth that there isn’t a single person who will love us like the devil does.

The Beauties represent the darker and louder places where songs reside. There is a sober truth in their songs. We raise a glass to this truth against the barnboard and the dusk, wishing the sobriety away. Against the loud crowd, The Beauties take the stage.

Teenage Kicks

Show Time:

7:00pm - Main Stage

Artist Bio:

Playing in bands together was inevitable for brothers Peter and Jeff van Helvoort, as there were few like-minded musicians in the small town where they grew up. As a result, people began to see a lasting connection between the two that has persisted from the first band they formed together 10 years ago, to present day Teenage Kicks, but has never been as apparent as it is on the group’s debut full-length. Spoils of Youth represents the van Helvoorts’ continued aspiration to produce music that is true to themselves and to the music they’ve always loved; songs rife with honesty, integrity, and truth.

Omhouse

Show Time:

5:30 p.m. - Pacific Stage (Wavelength)

Artist Bio:

Toronto's Omhouse has been described as ‘high-tension music for insomniacs’ and ‘an over caffeinated Dirty Projectors’. Their music oscillates between cathartic, riff-driven rock and adventurous electronic music, creating an odd and colourful backdrop for singer Steven Foster’s disarming vocal melodies. Omhouse also includes Evan Cartwright, Sam Gleason and Ben Harney. They just returned from their first cross-Canada tour in support of their second cassette release on Legwarmer Records.

KASHKA

Show Time:

7:30 p.m. - Mavety Stage

Artist Bio:

KASHKA is the ongoing folkpoptronica project of Toronto-based musician Kat Burns. After putting Forest City Lovers on indefinite hiatus, she is back with a new sound and a new album that boasts some of her finest material to date.

A prolific writer, Burns released three albums in her five years fronting Forest City Lovers before she retired the project in 2012. Not one to laze about, she collaborated mid-2012 with producer James Bunton (Ohbijou, Light Fires, Evening Hymns) on an LP called Vichada, under her new KASHKA moniker. The album garnered praise and she toured Canada and Europe and headed to Poland at the end of that year for a genre bending exploration of traditional instruments during a residency with Orkiestra Sw Mikolaj.

Upon returning to Canada she began recording her second KASHKA album Bound with producer Leon Taheny (Rituals, Dusted, Beliefs) in Toronto. The songs were filled with memorable melodies and lyrics about family history and broken love. Shortly after they completed tracking the album, she was selected for a prestigious residency at the Banff Centre in Alberta, with top producers Hal Willner (Lou Reed, Metallica), Shawn Everett (k.d. lang, the Like, Weezer) and musical mentors Kevin Drew and Charles Spearin (Broken Social Scene) and during that two weeks she wrote and recorded brand new music, currently unreleased, under their guidance. While she was there, Bound was released and began to pick up speed.

The release of Bound has garnered praise from the media, with Chromewaves declaring, “The likes of “Never Had It” and “Lamplight” boast some of the finest melodies Burns has written to date, and their buoyancy coexists with the shadowy, introspective numbers she’s always been strong at”; The Grid claims “Burns’s best asset is her voice, which is warm and precise” while Quick Before It Melts states, “the music Kat Burns has been making as KASHKA lately is 100% pure pop not from concentrate. There is nothing watered down about Bound, Burns’ second “solo” release under the KASHKA name.”

House of David Gang

Stage Time:

9:30 p.m. - Train Platform Stage

Artist Bio:

House of David Gang is an uplifting Canadian reggae band that draws on the roots sounds of 1970s Kingston, Jamaica. They carry on the long history of top notch Toronto reggae, taking their name from an after-hours hang out on Queen Street West, which was popular with Toronto’s Rastafarian and reggae community. Since the release of their album Reggae Warrior on NuFunk Records – produced by Snappy Homefry with the support of The Ontario Arts Council and FACTOR – House of David Gang have become Canada's hardest touring reggae band. In the past five years, the group has played over 200 dates across Canada, including headlining sold-out tributes to Bob Marley, Peter Tosh and Jamaican 50th Anniversary events. They have shared the stage with top artists such as Xavier Rudd, The Mighty Diamonds, Big Youth, Bushman, Mad Professor, Dawn Penn, Leroy Sibbles, and Ill Scarlett. The band has performed at some of Canada’s top music festivals including Guelph’s Hilllside Festival, Fredericton’s Harvest Jazz & Blues Festival, The Calgary International ReggaeFest, B.C.’s Shambhala Festival, and Nova Scotia’s Evolve Festival. A career highlight for the band was a performance for over 30,000 people at The Freedom Festival at Queen's Park in Toronto.

Two Koreas

Show Time:

2:30 p.m. - Pacific Stage (Wavelength)

Artist Bio:

The year was 2004. In a world distracted by Friendster testimonials, “Hello Moto!” flip-phone ringtones, and two-minute Jenna Jameson clips that took 15 hours to download on Limewire, five young(ish) men from Toronto waged a war against imminent cultural obsolescence using the most antiquated of means—i.e., by forming a rock ‘n’ roll band. Ten years, 100-plus gigs, 3.5 albums, and 12 sync licenses of gradually decreasing value later, The Two Koreas still exist and persist, if only to make you feel old. To mark a decade of dissonance—one that has seen them share stages with everyone from Wire to Japandroids, and crack the CBC Radio 3 Top 20 charts on no fewer than three occasions—The Two Koreas issued the LP Winner EP, recorded in Toronto one polar-vortexed Sunday afternoon in February of 2014. (Fucked Up/Tokyo Police Club producer Jon Drew—who commandeered The Two Koreas’ 2011 release, Science Island —returns to the tail-gunner position.) Across the EP's four tracks, The Two Koreas' ever-combustible collision of post-punk, psychedelia, and garage-rock coheres into a consummate portrait of how to rage gracefully and put the "no" in nostalgia.

Sun K

Show Time:

5:00 p.m. - Train Platform

Artist Bio:

From their respective corners across Canada, Sun K converged along Lansdowne Avenue in Toronto, combining their experiences along the way to produce a unique brand of grassroots folk rock splintered with blues sensibilities. The body of work they set out to create is diverse and ranges both in genre and structure; like its authors it refuses to linger on one message, tone or energy for any length of time, always rushing forward to rediscover itself.. The overall aesthetic combines complex melodies with arrangements that mimic the experiences that inspire the sound.

Sun K was born through a mutual appreciation of one another’s music after having crossed paths at bars throughout the city; bars whose names wouldn’t be out of place in a Coen brothers' film. Equal part students of music and folklore, sympathetic minds and sounds brought them into each other’s orbit. While Montano shoulders most of the weight in songwriting and arrangements, the overall aesthetic of the music is dependent upon the contributions of each individual musician. The set list unfolds and Butler seamlessly flies back and forth between the fiddle, rhythm and lead guitar, as Stu rejoins in kind on brass and keys. The constant is the rhythm section, crafted by John and Ju to be as meticulous as every other element in instrumentation and melody. Each song is a complex tapestry of science and soul, coalescing into an ‘auditory mandala’ to delight their listeners’ ears, minds, and bodies.

Sun K’s live show moves seamlessly between up-tempo backbeat-driven rock ‘n’ roll and creeping country-infused ballads, projecting a sound that seems like it originated years before the band members were born. Instrumentation is diverse, unpredictable; there’s an element of conflict in their shows when high energy visceral tunes like “Sweet Marie” are juxtaposed with the crafted orchestral performance of “Let It Grow” and ominous ballads like “The Road”. Their sound isn’t so much influenced by any specific genre or group of artists. Rather it is inspired by the ongoing interaction between Sun K and the characters in the narrative they tell, framed by the city they live in, and nourished by the audiences they are playing for.

Tails

Show Time:

4:00 p.m. - Pacific Stage (Wavelength)

Artist Bio:

Tails: The Item

Tails are a dangling artifact of our wilder animal past, having long since left our bodies behind. Sometimes articulated, sometimes prehensile; often flitting wildly - the tail, as the late Richard Attenborough remarked in Jurassic Park, "is kind of, to the untrained eye, like a shivering snake growing on a butt."

Tails: The Band

Tails are janglin' architects of winding hymnals that leave nobody's booty behind. Sometimes inarticulate, occasionally reprehensible; often flailing wilily - Tails are, as a stammering bystander once slurred from a wheelbarrow full of pork, "A shimmering treat for the ears and will grow on you, bud."

Beams

Show Time:

6:30 p.m. - Train Platform

Artist Bio:

Any folk-pop fans fearing a lack of fruitful ideas left to mine can take solace in the eccentric beauty of Toronto-based Beams' Just Rivers. The Canadian septet fronted by Anna Mérnieks offers such a dizzying array of bouncy arrangements that you'd be hard-pressed to classify it as folk in any strict sense, but it's a giddy, attention-worthy winner no matter what label you stamp on it. - Justin Wesley No Depression

Beams is a Toronto-based folk-pop group that stems from the songs and ideas of Anna Mernieks. Treating Americana textures in unconventional ways, Beams creates lush and eerie soundscapes that relate to the city as much as the country. The twin vocals of Anna and Heather Mazhar rise and weave over machine-like drums and bass and through the plinks and stabs of banjo and mandolin, while lapsteel, vibraphone and singing saw dust up vibrating clouds around it all. Starting off in small dives on Queen St. and Dundas St. W. in 2011, Beams have since seen the east coast twice, and shared the stage with Cuff the Duke, William Tyler, Jimmy Rankin, CATL and Canailles and have participated in CMW, NXNE and the Bloor-Ossington Folk Festival.

In 2013 they released their first full-length Just Rivers recorded by Peter J. Moore (Cowboy Junkies, The Sadies) to acclaim in NOW Magazine, No Depression, and Americana UK and features in Exclaim!, TORO, CBC and Fader.

Later this fall, Beams are releasing a 7” titled The Gutters and the Glass, recorded by Tortoise’s John McEntire (Broken Social Scene, Yo La Tengo, Stereolab)

Ginger Grey

Show Time:

3:30 p.m. - Train Platform

Artist Bio:

Martha Porado grew up listening to her father play guitar. Upon learning to sing all the material he wrote for bands he played with in the Washington, DC area, they had to write some more. When the Porados moved to the Junction, they met a pair of red-headed twins, Graham and David MacDonald, who happened to be a rhythm section. They write jazz-inspired jangle pop together, and they don't know exactly what that means either, but feel free to ask. They're friendly.

UKAE

Show Time:

3:30 p.m. - Mavety Stage

Artist Bio:

Originally one part Taylor Whittaker and one part Nickie Minshall, UKAE was technically born when the pair met in grade three. The two wee tots would get together over peanut butter and butter sandwiches and crank out various renditions of "Stand By Me" in their parents' basements. Even as youngsters they were a natural musical match, and although the elementary school duo did, unfortunately, fall apart, the group was reincarnated years later in August 2012. This time over beers, not sandwiches.

UKAE is a Toronto-based indie band featuring Taylor's raspy and oh-so-manly voice working in tandem with Nickie's sweet and soulful sound. This combo coupled with Taylor's organic knack for catchy guitar riffs makes for some pretty awesome tunes that will stick in your head for days. Years, maybe.

In December 2012 UKAE added the talents of Nick McKinlay (drums) and Tim O'Reilly (bass). These additions gave UKAE the ability to kick way more ass onstage and handle much larger crowds. After playing a sold out show as a full band, UKAE quickly realized that the band needed to get even louder. In January of 2013, UKAE added lead guitarist Andrew Dawson just in time for another hit show - this time at Lee's Palace.

Well-versed in uncommon, tasty covers (think “Pursuit of Happiness” and “Where Is My Mind”) as well as a growing roster of heartfelt originals, UKAE's sound adds something new and different to Toronto's music scene. Their debut studio EP Morning Story was released July 30th, 2014 and is now available for download on iTunes.

AHI

Show Time:

1:30 p.m. - Mavety Stage

Artist Bio:

Every so often a voice comes along and redefines soul for a generation.

Canadian songwriter, singer, and independent recording artist AHI is that voice, and with the recent release of the Indie Soul EP, he presents his trademark sound, Indie Soul.

With a voice described as “gravel on silk”, AHI blends the raw passion of traditional soul with the edge and innovation of indie music for a sound that simply pierces the soul.

From his humble beginnings as a Toronto-based performer, AHI has gone on to travel across the vast woodlands of Canada, the tropical hillsides of Trinidad, and the ancient cities and majestic highlands of Ethiopia. Some call it “soul searching”, but these pivotal years were less than romantic, shaping AHI’s worldview and helping define what would become his musical voice.

Inspired by the music of Bob Marley, MJ, Sam Cooke, 2pac and many others, AHI has learned to see music as a powerful expression of honesty to reach the human spirit. This is the void in current music that AHI has devoted himself to filling.

AHI has independently travelled over 17,000 miles internationally, and he continues to go where others lack the courage, forging timeless music that will speak to the hearts of generations.

Back in Toronto, AHI recently released his sophomore project, the Indie Soul EP. The lead single ‘Soul Checked’ has received national airplay, and ‘Pull Back The Veil’ was recently named ‘Song of the Week’ on CBC Radio. The Indie Soul EP is available now on iTunes and digital retailers worldwide.

IDUNA

Iduna Junction Story:

Idüna has always had a special place in their hearts for the Junction. Their recent debut EP was produced and recorded in the Junction, and Westend Offset Printing was an easy choice when they needed a place to print their EP USBs. Guitarist and vocalist, Trison Boyes is a proud Junction resident, and first introduced the others to Ravi Soups, which is now a favourite post-rehearsal destination for the band. In their free time the band enjoys drinking with friends at the Belljar Cafè and grabbing a bite or taking in some trivia at 3030. The members of Idüna have always been in awe of the strong music scene that can be found in the Junction, and are thrilled for the opportunity to be a part of it.

Artist Bio:

IDÜNA is a four piece alternative rock group based out of Toronto, Ontario. Fueled by the songwriting of guitar players Jason Craig and Trison Boyes, Idüna’s music is stimulating and exciting in a way that sends shivers through your spine and drives you to move. The Fraser Melvin Band's Junction Story:

"Spent the last 24 years growing up in and around the Junction, attended high school at Humberside, and now perform at many of the local establishments (The Hole In The Wall, Axis, La Revolucion). A very appreciative neighbourhood for the arts."

Artist Bio:

Formed in 2003 by friends Fraser Melvin (Guitar & Vocals) and Alex Furlott (Bass), the Fraser Melvin Band lineup solidified in 2008 when they met Jon Hyde (Drums), Josh Cavan (Keys), and Andrew Moljgun (Saxes & Tambourine) in college. The quintet plays many facets of Blues from Jump to Chicago to Texas and mixes it with the likes of Jazz, Funk and Swing to create a unique sound. They have performed at the Kitchener Blues Festival, the Toronto Jazz Festival, the Barrie New Music Festival, and in February, 2012 they competed in the International Blues Challenge in Memphis, Tennessee. With a lead singer that sounds 30 years his senior, a honkin’ sax man, dirty keys, and a rhythm section that grooves, this exciting and entertaining band is definitely one that will keep your ears listening.

The FMB has performed at different showcases including Festival Events Ontario (F.E.O.), Canadian Association Of Fairs & Exhibitions (C.A.F.E.), and the Ontario Association Of Agricultural Societies (O.A.A.S.).

"I am a Junction gal! Have been for 4 years and LOVE the community and neighbourhood. I am PROUD to tell people.where I live and bring them up to take a look or see me play at 3030 or Hole in the Wall!"

Artist Bio:

Toronto-based singer/songwriter Tanya Philipovich's music has been lovingly described as “Freak Folk”. Her songs are poetically driven, melodically interesting and generally performed with solo voice and guitar; simplicity is the best way to exhibit her complex and intriguing songwriting.

Tanya released her second album, Secret Fiction Romance, in 2009, on Doin’ Time Records. Secret Fiction Romance was recorded and produced by guitar-man Dan Walsh (Fred Eaglesmith, Willie P. Bennett, Corb Lund) at his Cozy Little Shack On Lake Erie Studio.

Getting her start in Vancouver, Tanya began singing her songs in cafes, clubs and outdoor stages at the age of fourteen.  She founded three rock bands, including college radio darling, ‘Sneeker’.

Tanya's debut solo album, ‘Keep On It’ (2006), continues to be celebrated by her loyal fans in Toronto, Montreal, New York & Vancouver. It was recorded with double bassist Drew Birston (Chantal Kreviazuk, Wild Strawberries) and produced by Brent Bodrug and B Group Music.

4 PM- Latitiude 44 Framing and Decor

Artist Bio:

The Wednesdays are a Toronto based indie rock group established in 2013.

The Wednesdays are a Canadian independent rock band who formed in late 2013 through their involvement in a few local area bands. They have quickly established themselves as the best musical talent ever to come out of that Meat Shop basement studio with a number of Smash Hits set to be released on their Greatest Hits Collection in the years to follow. Although writing hit music comes easy to The Wednesdays, it's staying humble that keeps them grounded.

Before signing their multimillion dollar deal and touring the world, their main objective is to share their music by playing local venues throughout the city, to very few people who are there by chance, just to see their friends. Unknowingly, they are about to become the lucky ones who get to say "I saw The Wednesdays."

Liminal Divide

Show Time:

12:00 p.m. - Mavety Stage

Artist Bio:

In the true spirit of experimental music Liminal Divide combines elements of many genres. Call them art rock, progressive or jazz fusion--their music encompasses all these categories. This synthesis of styles is what makes them original and allows their music to evolve beyond the popular expectations of song writing. The music has immense groove, but, it also has technical compositions that both enthusiasts and casual listeners will enjoy.

Formed in 2013 and hailing from Toronto, Liminal Divide is a true progressive outfit that goes beyond straight ahead rock and roll. Using odd time signature, lead harmonies, walking bass lines, and polyrhythmic percussion the listener will find the music sonically rich.

Lucas Stagg

Show Time:

Time: 2-4PM - Pandemonium

Artist Bio:

Stagg is a powerhouse songwriter...perhaps one of Canada’s best. He has refined his craft, (and his band), into the well-oiled machine that has been burning down crowds nightly.- Patrick Finch – The Record

Stunning songwriting. A triumph of modern melodic folk rock. - Hamilton Blues

By turns confessional and narrative, the tunes here are presented in an unadorned performance and production style that throws their lyrical and melodic content into sharp relief. Name-checking this material influence-wise would include some fine artists such as Joe Ely, Warren Zevon and Townes Van Zandt. Lucas Stagg measures up well against such vintage stuff while projecting his own clear style, no mean feat in itself. Whether it’s the James Burton chug of ‘Hell Bent’ or the straight-up cautionary tale ‘Doin’ Time’, the order of the day is sharp playing, strong clear vocal harmonies and melodies that stick in the mind.
Production: A / Performance: A - Rod Nicholson – Scene Magazine

Lucas Stagg is a roots rock hopeful to watch.- Neil McDonald – Exclaim! Magazine

 Show Time:

Time- All throughout the eveing (before and after other sets)

DJ O16's Junction Story:

Lives, works and breathes all things The Junction.

Artist Bio:

An irrational love of rare late 60's and early 70's funk and soul grooves on wax, along with his Detroit Lions, gave DJ OH16 his moniker.  His name, derived from Detroit's perfectly imperfect '07 season shows he knows a thing or two about lost causes, and the redemptive powers of deep soul music that can make even the most jaded listener want to get up off of that thing, and shake their moneymaker on the dance floor.

Dan's Junction Story:

"I've lived, taught and rehearsed in my home studio in the junction for three years now.

I'm a music teacher with a small studio in the junction called the Dan Gooch Community School of Music. I teach private and group lessons of piano, guitar, brass and woodwind. I also mentor mini groups of those instruments together. I've done workshops for the music festival, at Articulations, and the junction farmers market.

I play lots in the community too. I'm a multi instrumentalist who plays brass, piano, guitar, ukulele and sing. I've hosted the open mic at the hole in the wall many times, performed at crema, for the music festival and solstice festival. I front my own band under my own name, and play in lots of groups in the junction and beyond." - Dan Gooch

Artist Bio:

Dan Gooch’s ability to play many instruments and quickly compose, improvise, transcribe and arrange music sets him apart from other music educators. Dan is an elementary public school music teacher that has taught music classes from primary to high school, engaging students with his unique community-based approach to music education. Dan has a Bachelor of Music in Jazz Performance and Bachelor of Education, both from the University of Toronto.  Dan plays many instruments in numerous groups with his friends and family all over the community and city.

Show Time:

3-6 PM Opticianado

Emily's Junction Story:

"I myself have lived in the Junction for a year. Dan (Gooch) and I met when I first move to Toronto and we started playing together, and he lived in the area. After living in Bloordale for a bit I ended making the move to be closer to my day job at The Good Neighbour. It's worked out well for me. Coming from a small rural town in Alberta, and living in smaller communities in Nova Scotia and BC, I feel like the Junction is accessible and friendly and knit in a similar way. Musically, too, you get to know people quickly. There are good venues to play, and people come out to support each other, which is how it should be." - Emily

 Artist Bio:

Prairie-raised and Toronto-Based artist Emily Jill West’s songs are infused with elements of rootsy folk, and sparsely arranged alt-country. With a bird-like voice she has developed a unique sound, referencing influences Gillian Welch, Leonard Cohen, Sarah Slean and Patty Griffin. Her self-released EP, “And Human, Besides ” (2010) has earned much praise for its poignant songwriting, soulful melodies and insightful lyrics, marking Emily Jill West as an up and coming talent to watch on the Canadian music scene.

Despite her relatively new appearance, EJW’s songs caught the attention of the Calgary Folk Festival and she was selected to perform as one of the festival’s acts for 2011. Her performance at the festival was chosen for national broadcast on CBC’s Radio 2 ‘Canada Live’ concert series.

www.ryanawcarr.com

Bandcamp/ryanawcarr

Ryan Carr is a multi-instrumentalist singer/songwriter who recently moved back to Toronto after a 3 year stint in London, England. In London, he spent most of his time teaching, gigging, writing and recording. He performed all the mandolin parts, some backing vocals, and a bit of electric guitar on UK based folk musician Mark Harrison’s album Crooked Smile. He also co-wrote Norwegian artist Eric Ness’ entire debut album Blah, Blah, Blah and provided all the mandolin, harmonica, and backing vocals. The album’s single All These Problems quickly reached #16 on

Norway’s iTunes most downloaded list and the album itself reached #13. Ryan was a regular on the London music scene, playing guitar, mandolin and harmonica with bands such as The Snakeoil Rattlers, The Wagon Tales, Sam Green and Will Greener. He has toured all over Europe

and the United States and in the past year has been featured on BBC radio and RBB (German TV).

Now back in Toronto Ryan has just released his debut EP, aptly titled, “Progress.” “Progress” is the combined result of 4 years at jazz school, a 2 year bluegrass obsession, and 3 years of touring with a gypsy pop band. It is a mix of Ryan’s passion for roots music - country, blues, bluegrass, and folk – and his need to write songs about current events and daily life. “Progress” a paradoxical mix of the absurd and serious back dropped by music that is as confrontational with genre as grounded teenager.

Loren Hicks

Show Time:

Noon- 2 PM  3049 Dundas St.West

Artist Bio & Junction Story:

I spend most of my time writing songs and playing a banjo, mostly in and around my home neighbourhood, The Junction, in Toronto, Canada. I settled here after living in Edmonton, Winnipeg, Montréal, and other parts of Toronto.

I am the Hicks part of Hicks&Dawe, my main musical venture with my partners Sheldon Dawe, Neil Kitagawa, and Martha Aykroyd. We play regularly in several venues in Toronto and around Ontario.

I have made a living doing a lot of different things. I've trained as a sniper, driven fork lift trucks, written software, built and repaired  firearms, managed big corporate projects, been a caseworker with delinquent kids, done carpentry, managed sales teams, Lectured at McGill University, stacked steel plates, made chandeliers, advised executives in companies big and small, and busked on street corners.

You can find out more about me at my website, by checking out this video filmed in The Junction, or reading this article by Kayt Lucas
